A charming vintage Swedish floral still life oil painting, signed and dated “E. V. Danielsson 1946.” Created in the immediate post-war period, the work presents a colorful bouquet of wild and garden flowers arranged in a distinctive turquoise vase, combining traditional Scandinavian still-life painting with the warm decorative character of mid-century European art.

The composition features an abundant arrangement of white daisies, vivid red poppies, delicate blue flowers, yellow blossoms, and deep blue bell-shaped flowers surrounded by natural green foliage. The bright bouquet stands prominently against a softly graduated background of muted violet, mauve, and warm cream tones, while the turquoise vase provides a striking central accent.

Painted with visible hand-worked brushstrokes and expressive detailing, the flowers retain an appealing spontaneity rather than a highly formal botanical treatment. The warm ochre tabletop and darker lower background further emphasize the vivid colors of the bouquet and give the composition depth and balance.
